20 NOVEMBER 2023: With the fire season underway and dry, hot weather expected, our agri-staff have been busy preparing roads and fence lines for fire breaks and back burning.
At our 143,947 ha (355,701 acre) Babbiloora property group, the ACC grader and the loader have been making tracks, starting on the northern boundary fence shared with Carnarvon National Park. Our staff have already battled one fire in that region this season.
The hours in both machines have been used for erosion control, fixing breakaway gullies or filling in washed-out cattle pads.
