11 MARCH 2024: Embracing AI for the good of the workforce will be in the focus of our WHS boss Joell Brown, representing Queensland at a national conference this week.
Joell, our WHS Health and Injury Manager, is addressing the industry at the Australian Meat Processor Corporation conference in Melbourne.
“We have just finished a three-year project,” he said. “The next piece of the project is innovation, looking at new technology, automation and looking at AI systems and how that could improve safety.”
The project ‘Health and Safety Innovation’ will be showcased at the two-day event, with Joell presenting to meat industry representatives.
“I will be talking about where we’ve come from, where we’re at in terms of data and then what we’re looking to do in the next three years, introducing AI-type technology,” he said.
