Australian Country Choice ( ACC ) central processing facility is located in Brisbane
(Cannon Hill) and incorporates beef and veal Primary processing, Further processing and
Retail Ready meat packaging operations for delivery of shelf ready fresh meat products.
Weekly production capacities include the processing of 5,000 yearling, veal and Certified
Organic beef carcasses.
Additional fresh products include Stir-Fry & Diced beef and veal, Beef sausages, Corned,
Marinated, Glazed and Coated beef & veal products Silverside and Retail Ready beef mince,
and Hamburger patties .
The company employs over 850 staff in the management and operation of these facilities.
Over 75% of the total production is destined for Coles retail outlets with the remainder being
exported to over 24 countries.
ACC is one of the only beef processing facilities in the world that will slaughter, bone, value add, retail ready pack and distribute under one roof and unbroken cold chain. The ACC facilities at Cannon Hill (Est1620) are USDA licensed, HALAL certified in strict accordance of AFIC procedures, Safefood Queensland / AQIS Certified for Organic processing, Aus-Meat A+ under the inspection and monitoring processes of AQIS.
